A gorgeous vintage eternity band in Art Deco style, dating to the Mid-Century period.
Crafted in solid 9ct white gold with beautifully engraved sides, it is bead-set all the way around with 22 round-cut paste stones. Used as a diamond simulant since Victorian times, paste is a lead glass that when faceted gives the sparkling appearance of diamond, without the high price tag.
The craftsmanship is just beautiful, with exquisite scrolled engraving on each side of the ring and delicate millgrain edging either side of the channel-set stones. Measuring 2.7mm wide and bearing Birmingham 9ct hallmarks for 1963, this one is is in wonderful vintage condition, with all details still nice and crisp on both sides of the ring.
