An eye-catching onyx dress ring from the 1930s-40s retro era.
Stamped for Prouds, a well-known Australian jeweller in operation since 1905, this striking ring has been hand-crafted from a lovely burnished 9ct rose gold.
The elongate onyx cabochon measures 21.6 x 8.2mm and is framed with delicate millgrain edging around the setting, while the sides of the mount feature scalloped cut-out detail all the way around. Finished off with elegant arrow shaped shoulders, the effect is stunning.
A beautiful and unusual ring in excellent vintage condition.
