A lacy filigree hand-made original American Art Deco brooch.
Stamped for New Jersey jeweller Wordley, Allsop & Bliss, this exquisite bar brooch features fine open-work filigree, millgrain detail and foliate engraving. It is set with a round-cut blue zircon of 0.60 carats, accented by 2 sparkling old-cut diamonds totalling 0.08 carats.
Zircon is a naturally occurring gemstone, in fact the oldest known mineral on Earth! It has been used in jewellery for centuries (not to be confused with man-made cubic zirconia).
The brooch is made of 14ct yellow gold faced with platinum, and fastens securely with its original clasp. It would make a lovely gift, or a treat for yourself!
