Dainty, elegant and so refined!
These Austro-Hungarian sleepers date from the early 1900s and bear tiny marks indicating they are of Czech origin.
The wine-red faceted paste are collet set with a delicate millgrain edging, within a diamond-shaped frame – a precursor of the geometric aesthetic in the coming Art Deco period.
Measuring 18mm in length, with French-style “dormeuse” front closures, they are super comfortable to wear yet still so very striking on the ear!
