In post-war Europe, the scarcity of gemstones called for a new approach to jewellery and the style we now know as Retro was born. Bold, sculptural designs in yellow or rose gold were very popular, with a strong focus on form & texture.
A wonderful example of retro style, this hand-made 14ct ring features curling gold ribbons and finely cross-hatched etching on the shoulders.
It is set with 3 sparkling round cut diamonds totalling 0.11 carats, in a white gold mount with beautiful milgrain edging.
