An impressive Art Deco diamond ring from the 1930s in two-tone yellow gold & platinum.
Bead set with a sparkling old-cut diamond solitaire of excellent colour and clarity, it is flanked by decorative platinum shoulders, each set with a small accent diamond for a total of 0.25ct.
Beautiful scrolling filigree detail adorns the mount of the ring, merging to a plain half-round band at the rear.
Stamped 18ct inside the band, it is most likely Australian made – this was a popular style of engagement ring here in the 1930s.
It would be a beautiful choice for a vintage engagement ring or special occasion dress ring.
