Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold, Zircon Trilogy Ring
AU $0
Zircon is a beautiful gemstone with a unique fire and sparkle all of its own. Not to be confused with man-made cubic zirconia, naturally formed zircon was a popular gemstone of the late Victorian period, its popularity continuing through to the 1920s Art Deco era.
This scintillating trilogy ring likely dates from the early 1900s.
Hand-crafted in a burnished rose gold, it is claw-set with a round-cut blue zircon of 0.55ct, flanked by 2 white zircons of 0.10ct each.
The stones are in excellent condition, with no visible abrasion to their facets – rare for a zircon ring of this age, since zircon is softer than diamond. This one’s been well looked after!
A gorgeously sparkling antique dress ring – one of the loveliest trilogy rings we’ve come across in awhile.
