Retro 14ct Gold, Pearl Solitaire Ring
AU $0
A timeless classic by famed Japanese maker Mikimoto.
Kokichi Mikimoto is credited with creating the first cultured pearl in the late 1800s, perfecting his technique over the coming decades to become the world’s leading producer of high-quality pearls by the 1920s. Mikimoto pearls are renowned for their high lustre, perfect spherical shape and thick nacre – the best of the best.
This beautiful ring dates from the Retro era, 1930s to 1940s, and is set with a gorgeous 7mm Akoya pearl of creamy white tones.
It is crafted from 14ct yellow gold in a crossover design that is very simple but oh-so-chic, the delicate engraving and milgrain edging on the shoulders, finishing it off perfectly.
A truly marvellous special occasion vintage dress ring!
