A magnificent hand-made Danish bow brooch from the Retro era.
Bearing the stamp of Copenhagen jeweller Egon Lauridsen, this fabulous brooch dates from the late 30s to early 40s.
Typical of Retro-era style, it is designed as a cheerful and whimsical bow, crafted from yellow and rose gold “ribbon”.
Measuring approximately 5 x 3cm and weighing in at 8g, it’s quite a substantial and eye-catching piece – especially when worn against dark colours.
It is in excellent vintage condition, closing securely with its original trombone clasp.
