An exquisitely hand-engraved English antique locket & collar chain by the Dimier Brothers of Birmingham, 1882.
The front of the locket features beautiful scrolling foliate engraving while the rear is plain. Inside, it has its original frame and a perspex cover, ready for a special photo or keepsake.
The locket measures 46 x 36mm. The collar chain measures 50cm in length and matches the locket perfectly, with gorgeous hand-engraved floral detailling on every link.
The rear of the locket shows some minor dimpling and age-appropriate wear which is not visible when worn, but is mentioned for accuracy.
