An unusual & very striking vintage trilogy ring from the Mid-Century.
Crafted in a lush 18ct yellow gold, it showcases a square-cut inky blue sapphire of 4.6mm at centre, flanked by a pair of coronet-set brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.10ct. The gems are all set in platinum mounts, contrasting with the rich yellow gold of the shoulders & band.
Tapered crossover shoulders frame the mount on either side, merging down to a sturdy half-round band at the rear.
An effective & eye-catching design, it is a lovely variation of the classic 3-stone trilogy ring.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or abrasions to the stones, the band original width throughout.
